The Henry

I’ve lived at the property for 6 months now and am extremely happy here. I moved here from out of state and the office staff did a great job of making my move in process seamless. The staff at the front are all welcoming and friendly and recommended places that I should check out in the area. The amenities at this place is what made my decision during my apartment search so easy. There’s a dog spa that I use frequently for my dog as well as a nicely sized fitness center. There’s a bunch of other spaces such as the business center which I do find myself using the most since I work remotely.

We lived in the Henry for two and a half years shortly after it was built. At first we loved it and all the amenities included, however through our tenancy we faced a variety of issues. While there I would estimate the hot-tub was in working condition 30% of the time. Additionally, our car was towed from its paid garage space without any forewarning from the staff. We also experienced issues with fire alarms going off in the middle of the night on two separate occasions without any real fire danger. Finally upon moving out after thoroughly cleaning our unit for the better part of a full day, we were charged cleaning fees. We also spoke to staff to let them know we would need to return our second mail key after our move out day since it made it with us in the move. They said it would not be an issue, however they proceeded to charge us a fee for a missing key in our final bill. Because of these charges we did not receive our security deposit back and were asked to pay the the outstanding balance to cover them. We have disputed the charges, but The Henry management has stated that following our move out all issues would need to be handled by their Greystar receivables corporate team who has been unresponsive to our communications. The balance has now been sent to their debt collections agency. I would not recommend renting with The Henry or Greystar because of these issues.

Having lived at The Henry for five years, I can confidently say it's been an exceptional experience. The location is superb, offering great walking access to nearby amenities. The building itself is always clean, well-maintained, and showcases luxury finishings that add a touch of elegance to everyday living. A standout feature is the amazing staff, particularly Vanessa Hill, who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure tenants feel welcome and supported. Her efforts greatly enhance the living experience here. Additionally, as a pet owner, I appreciate the pet-friendly environment. Overall, The Henry offers a top-notch living experience in a great location.

Lived here from 2019-2023 and would advise any person to avoid The Henry on the basis of being an unsafe living environment as well as poor, unprofessional and predatory management practices. One, I was a victim of burglary in 2023 while living at The Henry. Two, my neighbors informed they were also victims of burglaries, one of which who had a car stolen from the “secure” garage. Three, when I addressed the security and safety issues with management, they made it a point to tell me they were not responsible for the security or safety of residents in the building. I can also confirm what other reviewers have said about Greystar charging bogus cleaning fees upon move out. When we moved out, we had the place thoroughly deep cleaned and they did not return our security deposit – super predatory business practice. There’s a lot more I could say but other reviewers have addressed many of the issues I also encountered. I do not recommend renting at The Henry or Greystar properties.
